Huawei said on Thursday it has sued the United States for preventing federal agencies from buying its products and services.
The giant Chinese telecom group is opening a legal front against Washington accusing it of espionage.
Guo Ping one of the presidents of the periodic group, in a statement, said that "the US Congress failed time and again to provide the slightest evidence to justify the restrictions imposed on Huawei's products.
At a press conference held at the group's headquarters in Shenzhen in the south of the country, Huawei's official accused the US government of hacking Huawei's servers and stealing its own emails.
Guo said the US government "hacked our servers and stole our e-mails and our code," without providing any evidence of the charges.
